One NYC-based point of contact
You work with the same U.S.-based lead from first call through go-live. No mid-project handoffs to an offshore team.
Milestone-based billing
For projects, we invoice against milestone sign-off — not upfront lump sums. You approve the work before we bill for it.
Clear change-order process
If scope shifts mid-project, we quote the delta separately and only proceed on your written approval. No surprise invoices.
Staff Augmentation / IT Consulting
Embedded engineering talent that plugs into your existing team and workflow — for when you know what you need built or maintained and need capacity fast.
First call to engineer starting: typically 1–3 weeks
- →The role, seniority, and stack you need
- →Who they'll report to and how your team works day to day
- →Any compliance, background-check, or access requirements
- →Target start date and expected engagement length
- 01
Initial Consultation
We learn about your company, the role or skill gap you're trying to fill, and why it's open — backfill, new build, or overflow capacity.
- 02
Discovery Call
We map out where the contractor will sit inside your team, who they'll report to day to day, and any compliance or security requirements. We also confirm whether this is a project-based or ongoing engagement.
- 03
Talent Match
We shortlist onshore engineers who fit the role, background, and availability you need, and prepare a summary of relevant experience for your review.
- 04
Proposal
We put together an engagement proposal covering role, rate, term, ramp expectations, and reporting cadence, with a single point of contact on our side.
- 05
Kickoff Preparation
We confirm start date, access and equipment needs, and invoicing details so day one goes smoothly.
- 01
Kickoff
Your new team member is introduced, access is provisioned, and communication channels and reporting lines are set.
- 02
Ramp & Early Check-In
We check in early — typically within the first two weeks — to confirm expectations are being met from day one.
- 03
Ongoing Delivery
Regular check-ins at 30, 60, and 90 days keep performance and fit on track, with consistent billing and reporting throughout.
- 04
Renewal & Expansion
As the engagement matures, we discuss extending the term or expanding into additional roles based on how things are going.
- 05
Smooth Transition
If an engagement wraps up, we handle knowledge transfer and offboarding cleanly, with no loose ends.
Custom Software Development
Outcome-driven project delivery — from a defined scope to a working product, with milestone accountability throughout.
Discovery to signed quote: typically 1–2 weeks. Kickoff to first milestone demo: 2–4 weeks.
- →The business problem and rough scope you're trying to solve
- →Decision-makers available for discovery and scoping calls
- →Any existing designs, docs, data samples, or system access
- →A rough budget range and target timeline
- 01
Initial Consultation
We start by understanding the project at a high level — the business problem, rough scope, and timeline you're working with.
- 02
Discovery Call
We dig into the business problem behind the request, not just the feature list, and identify any existing systems or integrations that need to be respected.
- 03
Scoping Call
We go deeper on technical and functional requirements to define exactly what needs to be built.
- 04
Question List
We compile any open questions from the discovery and scoping conversations and send them over so nothing gets missed before we scope the work.
- 05
Stakeholder Call
If additional decision-makers or technical owners need to weigh in, we bring them into the conversation before finalizing scope.
- 06
Samples & Materials
We request any existing designs, documentation, data samples, or system access relevant to the project.
- 07
Technical Scoping
We break the project into clear milestones and phases, flag any technical risk areas, and determine the right pricing model for the scope.
- 08
Mock Design
Our team builds a concrete mock design along with a refined list of any remaining open questions, so you can see the direction before committing.
- 09
Quote & Walkthrough
We provide a detailed quote tied to project milestones and walk you through it line by line on a call.
- 10
Quote Approval
Once the quote is approved, we finalize scope, timeline, and terms.
- 11
Contract & Kickoff
Contract is signed, the first payment is made, and we schedule kickoff with your team.
- 01
Kickoff Meeting
We introduce the delivery team, walk through the project plan and milestones, and confirm any dependencies on your side.
- 02
Delivery Cadence
We work in structured sprints with regular status updates on an agreed cadence, so you always know where things stand.
- 03
Milestone Sign-Off
As each milestone is completed, we demo it for your review and get sign-off before moving forward or invoicing.
- 04
Quality Assurance & Testing
We run our own QA pass before opening the work up for your team's acceptance testing, then support you through it.
- 05
Go-Live
We deploy to production with a rollback plan in place and hand off any documentation your team needs.
- 06
Post-Launch Support
After launch, we put ongoing support or maintenance in place and revisit the roadmap for future phases.
Common questions before you commit
How fast can you start?+
For staff augmentation, we can typically introduce shortlisted engineers within a week and have someone starting in 1–3 weeks. For custom software projects, we move from first call to signed quote in about 1–2 weeks, then kick off shortly after contract signing.
Do you require a deposit?+
For custom software projects, yes — the first milestone payment is due at contract signing before kickoff. After that, invoicing is tied to milestone sign-off, so you're never paying ahead for work that hasn't been demoed. For staff augmentation, we invoice on a standard monthly cadence with net terms.
What if we're not sure which service we need?+
That's what the initial consultation is for. If you know the outcome but not the shape of the work, we'll help you figure out whether embedded engineers or a fixed-scope project is the right fit — and we'll tell you honestly if it's neither.
What happens if scope changes mid-project?+
For fixed-scope work, changes go through a lightweight change-order process: we scope the delta, quote it separately, and only proceed once you approve. Small in-scope adjustments during a sprint don't need paperwork — we handle them as part of normal delivery.
Who's my point of contact?+
One NYC-based delivery lead throughout the engagement. No account-manager handoffs, no offshore team you've never met doing the actual work.
