An enterprise engineering partner your reviewers will clear

US-based senior engineers on monthly retained pods. SOC 2-aligned controls, client-MSA contracting, work-for-hire IP, and in-person sessions from our New York office.

Pods from $60K/mo · named W-2 US engineers · no offshore subcontracting

// every gate, answered

Enterprise deals stall at review, not at the demo

Six people usually have to say yes. Here is what each of them gets from us, in writing, before you commit to anything.

Procurement

We sign your paper

Client MSA accepted in most engagements. Five to ten business days for legal review. W-9, COI, cyber-liability, and vendor-onboarding packets returned inside a week.

Security

SOC 2-aligned controls

SSO and MFA enforced, managed encrypted devices, background-checked staff, same-day offboarding. We work in your tenant, your IdP, your repos — data stays in your environment.

Legal

Work-for-hire, no lock-in

IP assigns to you from the first commit. Mainstream stacks, documented as we go, 30-day termination on enterprise agreements. No proprietary frameworks.

Finance

One predictable invoice

Monthly retained pods, not hourly timesheets. Published rate card as the negotiation baseline. Fixed-scope discovery before any long-term commitment.

Engineering

Named senior US engineers

W-2 employees in US time zones, named in the SOW. Median engineer tenure on an enterprise account exceeds 12 months. No offshore subcontracting.

Executive

In-person, in New York

On-site discovery workshops, architecture sessions, and quarterly business reviews from our NYC office, with travel across the US as engagements require.

// how it starts

From first conversation to first standup

01

Working session, not a pitch

A 90-minute session with the engineers who would do the work — on-site in NYC where possible. We come with questions about your architecture and constraints, not a deck.

02

Fixed-scope discovery

Four to six weeks, fixed price, real deliverables: architecture assessment, risk register, delivery plan, and a staffing recommendation. Ends with something usable whether or not you continue.

03

Vendor onboarding in parallel

Security questionnaire, MSA review, insurance certificates, and access provisioning run alongside discovery so procurement is not the thing that delays your start date.

04

Pod stands up

Named engineers plus a delivery lead, embedded in your process — your sprints, your tickets, your code review. Two to three weeks from signed SOW to first standup.

// talk to engineering

Start with the technical conversation

No SDR qualification call. Tell us what you are building or what is stuck, and we will put the engineers who would actually do the work on the call. If you are earlier than that and just need the security packet or a rate card for a budget cycle, say so and we will send it.

  • Vendor security questionnaires returned within five business days
  • Rate card and sample SOW available for budget planning before any commitment
  • On-site working sessions across the NYC metro; travel elsewhere in the US by arrangement

Frequently asked questions

Are your engineers employees or subcontractors, and where are they located?
Every engineer on an enterprise engagement is a US-based W-2 employee of NextGen Coding Company, working in US time zones. We do not subcontract enterprise delivery to offshore vendors, and we do not place engineers we have not employed and evaluated ourselves. This matters for enterprise buyers whose data-handling policies, export-control obligations, or client contracts restrict where code and data can be touched. Engineer locations and employment status are disclosed by name in the statement of work, and we will confirm them in writing during vendor onboarding.
Can you work under our MSA, or do we have to sign your paper?
We work under the client's master services agreement in the majority of enterprise engagements. Our legal review of a standard enterprise MSA typically takes five to ten business days. We can accept most standard terms without negotiation, including mutual NDAs, work-for-hire IP assignment, background-check requirements, cyber-liability insurance minimums, audit rights, and defined SLAs. The clauses we most often need to discuss are uncapped indemnity, unlimited liability, and exclusivity or non-solicit terms that extend beyond the engagement. If you would rather move on our paper, we have a standard MSA and SOW template that most procurement teams clear quickly.
What security and compliance posture can you evidence?
We operate a SOC 2-aligned control set: least-privilege access, mandatory SSO and MFA, encrypted laptops with device management, background checks on all engineering staff, documented onboarding and offboarding with same-day credential revocation, and annual security training. We work inside the client's own cloud tenant, identity provider, and repositories by default, so production data does not leave your environment. We complete standard vendor security questionnaires, including CAIQ and custom enterprise assessments, and will sign a BAA for healthcare engagements. We are not a hosting provider and do not hold client production data in our own infrastructure.
How do you handle knowledge transfer so we are not locked in?
Everything we build is the client's property from the first commit, written in the client's repositories, in mainstream frameworks your own hiring pool already knows. We do not use proprietary internal frameworks, we do not hold deployment credentials that your team lacks, and we do not gate documentation. Every engagement includes running architecture documentation and runbooks maintained as part of delivery rather than assembled at the end. At offboarding we run a structured handover with your named engineers. Contracts are terminable with 30 days' notice on enterprise engagements; we would rather earn renewal than hold a codebase hostage.
What does an enterprise engagement cost and how is it structured?
Enterprise engagements are structured as monthly retained pods rather than hourly billing, so budgeting is predictable and finance sees one invoice per month. A typical pod is three to six engineers plus a delivery lead, and lands between $60,000 and $180,000 per month depending on composition and seniority. Discovery and architecture engagements run as fixed-scope four to six week efforts before any long-term commitment, which lets both sides validate fit against real code. Our published rate card is the starting point for enterprise negotiation, not a separate hidden schedule.
Will we get a consistent team, or rotating contractors?
Named engineers, named delivery lead, stated in the SOW. We do not rotate engineers off an enterprise account for internal staffing convenience. Median tenure of an engineer on a NextGen enterprise account is over 12 months. If a client asks us to replace someone for fit, we do it within two weeks and absorb the ramp cost on our side. If we ever need to change staffing, we notify the client in advance with an overlap period rather than a swap.
Do you work on-site, and where?
Yes. We are headquartered in New York City and our team runs on-site discovery workshops, architecture sessions, and quarterly business reviews in person for clients in the NYC metro area, with travel to other US locations as engagements require. Most enterprise relationships we hold started with an in-person working session rather than a proposal document. Day-to-day delivery runs remote in your time zone with on-site cadence agreed in the SOW.
How quickly can an enterprise engagement start?
From signed SOW to first standup is typically two to three weeks for enterprise pods, with the gating factor almost always being the client's own access provisioning and security onboarding rather than our staffing. Where a client can pre-stage laptops, SSO accounts, and repository access, we have started inside 10 days. Discovery engagements can start faster because they need less production access.
