// the problem

Hiring in-house software developers in 2026 takes months.

Fierce competition

Every company is fighting for the same shrinking pool of senior software developers.

Months to hire

Internal recruiting cycles take 3–6 months to land a single permanent developer.

Hundreds of hours lost

Tech leadership burns out screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.

But you still have roadmaps to deliver and deadlines to meet.

// the solution

Get our devs on your team within 2 weeks.

// capabilities

Five disciplines behind every subscription launch.

Stripe Billing Architecture

Products, prices, and plan hierarchies modeled so pricing changes later don't require a rewrite.

Subscriptions & Entitlements

A clean subscription data model in your own database that gates features, seats, and limits reliably.

Checkout & Customer Portal

Hosted Checkout or embedded Elements, self-serve upgrades, downgrades, cancels, and invoice history.

Webhooks & Reconciliation

Signature verification, idempotency keys, retry-safe handlers, and nightly reconciliation against Stripe.

MVP Product Engineering

React, Next.js, Node, and Python built by senior U.S. engineers — the product around the billing, not just the billing.

// why billing first

<Ship Revenue, Not Just Software/>

Most MVPs launch without a real billing layer, then spend the next two quarters retrofitting one — untangling proration, chasing failed payments, and rebuilding a subscription model that was never designed. We invert that: subscription billing is part of the architecture from sprint one, so your first customer can pay you the day you launch, and your pricing can change without a rewrite.

// 01 / what we build

Everything a Stripe subscription product needs

Stripe subscription SaaS MVP development is more than a Checkout button. It's the price book, the entitlement model, the webhook pipeline, and the reporting — built by the same full-stack engineering team that builds the product around it, with AI development services available when your product is priced by usage.

Frequently asked questions

What is Stripe subscription SaaS MVP development?
It's building the first shippable version of a SaaS product with recurring revenue wired in from day one: Stripe Billing price books, Checkout or an embedded payment flow, the Customer Portal, trials, proration, dunning, webhook handling, and entitlements that actually gate features. You launch with a product that can charge customers, not a demo you have to retrofit billing into later.
How long does a Stripe subscription MVP take to build?
Most subscription MVPs run 6-10 weeks from kickoff to production, depending on how many plans, pricing dimensions, and integrations are in scope. A billing-only engagement — adding Stripe subscriptions to an existing app — is typically 3-5 weeks. Engagements start within 7-14 days of the scoping call.
How much does it cost?
We work from published rates: a $16,000/mo dedicated senior engineer, a $32,000/mo two-engineer pod, or a $75,000/mo enterprise pod with QA. Fixed-scope work starts at a $1,000 Discovery Sprint. Annual prepay saves 15%. Full rates are on the pricing page.
Can you do usage-based, metered, or hybrid pricing?
Yes. We implement seat-based, flat-rate, tiered, metered, and hybrid models on Stripe Billing — including usage aggregation, idempotent meter events, credit grants, overages, and mid-cycle plan changes with correct proration. Usage-priced AI products are a common engagement for us.
Should we use Stripe Billing or build our own billing system?
For an MVP, almost always Stripe. Rolling your own subscription engine means owning proration math, invoice state machines, tax, retries, and reconciliation before you have product-market fit. We use Stripe for the money movement and keep a thin, well-modeled subscription/entitlement layer in your own database so you're never locked out of your own data.
What about PCI compliance and security?
Using Stripe Checkout or Stripe Elements keeps card data off your servers, which puts you in the lightest PCI scope available (SAQ A / A-EP depending on the integration). We build with webhook signature verification, idempotency keys, least-privilege API keys, and audit-friendly logging, and we can align delivery with an existing SOC 2 program.
Do you migrate existing subscribers from another billing system?
Yes — migrations off legacy or homegrown billing, including importing customers and payment methods into Stripe, mapping legacy plans to new price objects, preserving renewal dates, and running a reconciliation pass so MRR matches before and after cutover.
What happens after launch?
Engagements are monthly, so the same engineers stay on for post-launch iteration: pricing experiments, failed-payment recovery, new plans, revenue reporting, and scaling the product past the MVP. No handoff to a different team.
